Reptiles and amphibians have a bad reputation they did not earn. That makes it harder to protect them, and it gets a lot of them killed by people who simply do not know better. Those of us who know how valuable and interesting these animals are have a job: pass it on. You do not need a degree to do Conservation Through Education. You need to know something true and be willing to tell someone. The goal is to help people understand that the animals we share the world with are fascinating, worth protecting, and in need of help. At LEARN we try to get across that reptiles and amphibians are living, breathing, feeling creatures.
