R-9.03: What Can You Do?

Updated

Let's be honest. Conservation can feel overwhelming. More people every year. Habitat vanishing. Species dying from diseases, collecting, and invaders. Where do you even start? Can one kid really do anything about all of it? You may have heard the story. After a storm, a man walks a beach covered in stranded starfish, throwing them back one at a time. Someone says, "There are thousands. You can't possibly make a difference." He throws another one in and says, "Made a difference to that one." There is truth in that. Each of us can only do our part, and helping one animal in front of you matters.
