The outdoor activities in this course are called fieldwork, and they live in the Fieldwork & Applied Learning section. Fieldwork is the best part of being a herpetologist. It is also the part where the rules matter most. Adult partner: Every fieldwork activity in this course is designed to be done with an adult present. We do not expect a student to go looking for wild animals alone, and no activity requires anyone to touch an animal. Always go with your adult partner. Tell someone where you are going and when you will be back. Never touch an animal you cannot identify.
This lesson is part of Certified Junior Herpetologist. Enrollment is self-paced, with no deadline to finish (about 30 hours).
