Optional activity, done with your adult partner. About 3 hours. This one is not required for your certificate, but it may be the best part of the whole course. Reading about conservation is one thing. Doing it is another. If you and your adult partner can, spend at least three hours helping one of the groups from your F-9.01 list, or a similar one. The hours can be in one day or spread over several visits. Pulling invasive plants, helping at a nature center event, joining a habitat cleanup, or helping a monitoring project all count.
