Fieldwork activity, done with your adult partner. About 30 minutes. In Unit VII, the lesson Observation Records gave you a junior observation form with eleven rows: observer, date and time, species, description, location, habitat, what it was doing, weather, photos taken, other notes, and where you uploaded it. Copy that form into your journal, or print it. Now fill it out for one real animal you have seen. If you have already made an iNaturalist observation, use that one. If you have not found a herp yet, you may practice on any wild animal, even a squirrel. Fill in what you actually know. If you had to guess the size, write "about" in front of it.
This lesson is part of Certified Junior Herpetologist. Enrollment is self-paced, with no deadline to finish (about 30 hours).
