R-7.08: Take Nothing but Photos

Updated

Every living thing affects the world around it. Everything that breathes is part of a delicate balance. But people, even though we are part of nature, tend to knock that balance around, on purpose and by accident, and there are so many of us now that we have to be careful. Getting outdoors is good. The trick is remembering that a small thing, done by many people, becomes a big thing. Peeling the bark off one fallen log to look for a lizard seems harmless. If everyone who walks that trail does it, the skinks soon have nowhere to hide.
