How the Course Is Organized (Junior Herpetologist)

How the Course Is Organized

Updated

This course moves in a clear order: first the orientation, then the reading lessons, then the outdoor fieldwork, and finally the exam and your certificate. Start Here: Course Orientation explains how the course works and what we expect from you. You are reading it now. Units I through IX hold the lessons. They cover what reptiles and amphibians are, how their bodies work, where they live, what threatens them, how to watch them safely, and how to help. Fieldwork & Applied Learning is where you go outside with your adult partner and meet the animals that live near you. Practice quizzes at the end of each unit let you check what you remember. They are for practice only.

This lesson is part of Certified Junior Herpetologist. Enrollment is self-paced, with no deadline to finish (about 30 hours).
