So you’ve decided you enjoy observing and identifying reptiles and amphibians in the wild. Great! Herps certainly need all the help they can get. Hopefully, you have already developed good habits for your field trips, including not destroying habitat, not littering, leaving the critters in the wild, and properly sterilizing equipment. You’re following all applicable laws, you’re not handling any venomous critters, and you are taking quality photographs to upload to a citizen science database. Excellent job!
